Project Planning Phase / Design-Build

Assist clients with preliminary budgeting and site analysis studies for overall project feasibility. This includes working directly with the architect and client as construction drawings are completed and assisting in controlling all costs without sacrificing quality in order to maintain the overall budget.

General Contracting

David E. Looper & Company offers a wide range of general contracting services. We work as a team with the owner, architect and engineers to deliver our client’s project on time and within budget. David E. Looper & Company’s expert staff begins with the estimating team and continues with the project manager and superintendent teams. David E. Looper & Company’s proficient client-oriented administrative staff works diligently behind the scenes to keep the paperwork moving as efficiently as the staff itself.

Pre-Construction Phase:

Reviews for constructability, safety and site logistics planning. Quantity take-offs for estimating, cost planning and more efficient project scheduling. Review and test various design changes and value engineering ideas. Provide feedback and cost implications.

Construction Phase

Site utilization planning, coordination of building systems, elimination of conflicts through early detection and resolution. Develop an information exchange system for team members that promotes better communication, an increase in field productivity and assistance to exceeding sustainability goals while reducing costly RFI’s and unforeseen change orders.

Close-Out Phase

Collect and gather building system data to help file, store, and hand over more accurate and usable information to the building owner or end user.
